The Air Jordan Spizike is coming back out, except this time in the form of a boot. I personally love this Air Jordan Spizike. Just like my personality, the featured Air Jordan Spizike has a tinge of everything. Both feature combo-textile uppers, including patent leather, premium leather, suede, and the brand’s signature elephant/cement crackle print.
Probably the most successful Jordan hybrid thus far, the Spizike sees two additional colorways this season, including a black/varsity red stealth and a black/new blue-white-infrared design. Yes, it’s true, no need to readjust your monitor.
This colorway pictured may be the flint grey colorway that was spotted in the Holiday ‘09 catalog with slight changes. It is now available at selected Jordan Brand retailers in white / fire – red edition also known as Mars Blackmon and inspired by the Air Jordan Spizike original colorways,
They will of course manage to have the “MARS” lace locks and Spike Lee’s “40 Acres and a Mule” logo on the heel. The black/new blue-white-infrared is set for a May 8th release while the stealthy black patent silhouette drops on June 5th, 2010. For Holiday ‘09, retailers may be stocking 3 versions of the Air Jordan Spizike; Blk/Anthracite, Dark Cinder/Black and Flint Grey/Cherry Wood Red. A real unique piece, the Nike tried fusing favorite elements from Air Jordan Spizike silhouettes such as AJ III, IV, V, and VI. Maybe Nike is just getting fusion experiments with the birth of Air Jordan Spizike but the idea of charity for all sales proceeds to Spike Lee’s Alma Mater, Morehouse College is not bad at all.
Four years after the original launch, it is now ready to join the Air Jordan shoes lineup in three colorways. the black / cement – grey edition as inspired by Air Jordan IV and last but not the least is the grape edition as inspired by Air Jordan Spizike.
