Whether you are just a beginner or an advanced snowboarder, here are 2 very imperative ideas that you need to make sure to keep in mind if you want to get any better. There are many other tips that you could use such as picking the right gear, being in shape and just having fun out there. These two tips, are crucial for you to achieve your goal in becoming a better snowboarder.
Make sure to get lessons from a good instructor as much as you can. This is easy to understand for most, but a lot of ace snowboarders tend to ignore it because they think they already know everything about snowboarding. If you talk to most pro snowboarders today, you’ll hear from them that they have coaches and they train all the time. Even a pro will tell you the value of this.
So what about the people that don’t have time or money for a trainer? Don’t think about it as bad, because there are cheaper and more convenient options out there. You can get freestyle snowboarding tricks from either one of these: a private trainer, or at home training. One of the best programs we found online was Snowboard Addiction. They offer some very high quality video, audio and book training that will help teach you how to tear up the slopes in style. You also will get to learn at your own pace, and its actually pretty cheap.
Next tip, its important to keep learning new tricks. This will motivate you to want to keep learning and just having fun. Some snowboarders even feel that people that just keep learning trick after trick are immature, because they think its not about that. Snowboarding is more than that, it’s about expression and having fun. So just continue to have fun and learn after you get better.
