Huther Advertising creates 3 great web sites for Old Forge, New York

John Huther at Huther Advertising LLC was selected to design the new web site for Old Forge, New York in the Central Adirondacks. The three new tourism web sites were recently launched and welcomed with many compliments from viewers. The web sites showcase what the Central Adirondack area has to offer plus provides easy to use navigation to find information for visiting.

The web sites Huther completed on this project included one for Old Forge, New York’s main tourism web site including links to web cams and a web site for Snowmobiling which includes the ability to purchase snowmobile permits and a website dedicated to McCauley Mountain Ski Area which included an interactive virtual tour of the mountain.

“Huther Advertising really went the nine yards on this project to create a unique look for Old Forge, New York. He used beautiful photographs from the area to enhance the site and put his creativity to work with colors and graphics. We really enjoyed working with John Huther at Huther Advertising.” 

When Huther first opened Huther Advertising LLC in Westmoreland, New York, Huther was using the then state of the art Macintosh CXs with black and white monitors.  No full color work.  Full color work had to be indicated and sent to printers with photo boards.  Even this was a step up from when Huther graduated from college in Pittsburgh.  There, the “Macs” were just being introduced and Huther recalled how he used the big 5″ floppy discs for storage.  ”The computer literally “bounced” when you tried to save your work”, said Huther.
